Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your use of the Glimpse game for iPhone (the "Game"), the website at glimpsepuzzle.com and related services (together, the "Services"). By downloading or playing the Game you agree to these Terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"), which these Terms supplement. Where the two differ on the licence itself, the Standard EULA prevails.

2. The Game

The Game is free to play. It is supported by ads and offers optional in-app purchases. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to play the Game on Apple devices you own or control, under the Standard EULA and these Terms.

3. Ads

The free Game shows ads, including full-screen ads after completed pictures, banners on some screens and optional reward videos. Your advertising choices are described in the Privacy Policy. The No Ads purchase removes full-screen and banner ads; reward videos remain optional.

4. In-app purchases

• Seller and payment. Purchases are sold and charged by Apple through the App Store. Prices are shown in your storefront's currency, including any taxes Apple applies. Apple's Media Services Terms apply to the payment.
• Permanent purchases (for example No Ads or Olive's Wardrobe) stay tied to your Apple Account and can be restored on your devices with Settings → Restore purchases.
• Consumable items (for example coin packs and bundles of helpers) are used up in play. Because game progress is stored on your device, they cannot be restored if you delete the Game or reset your progress.
• Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not receive your payment and therefore cannot refund it ourselves, but we will support any valid request.

5. Coins, helpers and other virtual items

Coins, helpers, lives, unlimited-lives time, cosmetics and other virtual items are licensed to you for use in the Game only. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money or transferred, and are not your property. We may adjust prices, rewards and game balance to keep the Game fair and fun. Reward videos and other free rewards may have daily limits and depend on an ad being available.

6. Offline play

The Game needs an internet connection for its ads. Without one, you can play the daily picture and up to five levels per day, without rewards. With No Ads, you can play offline without these limits.

7. Fair play

You may not cheat, use bots or modified versions of the Game, exploit bugs to obtain items, interfere with ads or purchases, or copy, decompile or reverse engineer the Game, except where the law allows it.

8. Content and intellectual property

The Game, its pictures, characters (including Olive), music, texts and design belong to us or our licensors. You may share screenshots and short videos of your own play for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Right of withdrawal (EU and EEA consumers)

When you buy digital content in the Game, you ask for it to be delivered immediately and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once delivery has begun, as permitted by Directive 2011/83/EU and Government Decree 45/2014. (II. 26.). Your statutory rights for digital content that is faulty or not as described remain unaffected.

10. Updates and availability

We may update the Game, and add, change or remove levels, features, items and events. We do not guarantee that the Game or any feature will always be available.

11. Warranty and liability

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available". This does not affect warranties that cannot be excluded under the law of your country; for consumers in the EU, the conformity rights under Directive (EU) 2019/770 remain unaffected. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, including lost progress, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Game in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Game at any time by deleting it. We may end your licence if you seriously breach these Terms and, if the breach can be remedied, do not remedy it within 14 days after notice.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Hungarian law, in particular the Hungarian Civil Code (Act V of 2013), Government Decree 45/2014. (II. 26.) and Act CVIII of 2001 on electronic commerce services, together with applicable EU consumer-protection rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings before the courts there. Consumers may also turn to a conciliation board; for our registered seat this is the Budapest Conciliation Board (Budapesti Békéltető Testület, bekeltet.bkik.hu).

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post changes here and update the date at the top; material changes will also be announced in the Game. If you keep playing after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply.
